Berry Hill's 2nd Grade Poetry Celebration

Robert Frost has said, "Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words." Berry Hill second graders along with the families found their words by participating in an interactive poetry celebration! Upon entering each "Poetry Cafe" or classroom, students and families were invited to write and read poetry from several genres and resources including magazine poetry, fingerprint poetry, magnetic poetry, paint the poem, blackout poetry and acrostic poems!
